Become part of our team as Senior Category Manager (m/f/d) Location: Mannheim Your Responsibilities:
Design and development of healthcare products and supporting their growth across multiple European markets. Product ranges include common pharmacy categories such as dietary supplements, diagnostics, medical/electrical, personal care, cosmetics and OTC medicines for target markets within PHOENIX group Specify and develop individual products based on market and competition analysis Take the lead in regulatory management of relevant product ranges in conjunction with specialist support Commercial responsibility for the performance of the product range including optimal use of the global supply chain Customization of products in collaboration with sales and marketing colleagues Coordination with internal departments, suppliers, design agencies, lawyers and consultants to achieve overall performance objectives Responsibility for supplier management including the purchase of products, key supplier relationships, contract negotiations and supplier audits Support supply chain colleagues in securing the supply of goods, optimization of the inventory position and managing the cost of transportation
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration, marketing/commerce, product design, engineering or biomedical science 7+ years of experience in Category/Product Management and extensive knowledge of the consumer healthcare product market Experience in supply management and familiarity with modern retail practices and category management Dedicated, independent and structured working style Team oriented with good negotiation and communication skills in an international environment Fluent in German and English
