You are supporting the development and certification activities for various aircraft systems, by generating input and providing guidance for compliance with certification requirements on Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), covering: High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF) Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) You are supporting external supplier activities for various aircraft systems regarding E3 aspects. You are defining qualification requirements regarding E3. You are participating in aircraft level as well as system and equipment level tests. You are validating detailed design data during document and drawing checks. You are verifying compliance with certification requirements. You are providing input for and checking compliance documents and participate in certification reviews with certification authorities.
Requirements:
A bachelor or master degree in electrical or aeronautical engineering, alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry Knowledge of aircraft avionics system design and certification per EASA CS23/CS25 and CS-ACNS Experience with establishment of HIRF/IEL requirements based on analytical methods Knowledge of EASA Certification process Good interpersonal and organizational skills Good knowledge of the English language, German language is a plus
